Agitated Electro Chemical Reactor (AECR)
Featuring Sage’s- licensed, patented technology, our Agitated Electro Chemical Reactor (AECR) is the answer for hard-to-treat water and wastewater. Economical and dependable, AECR out-performs conventional technologies delivering a high flow rate in a small footprint. Its revolutionary approach to electrocoagulation and electro-oxidation significantly reduces bacteria, total organics, suspended solids, metals, oil & grease.
75% of Effluent Waste Water Recovered
A major gulf coast refinery pretreated biological waste water effluent with AECR technology, followed by filtration and reverse osmosis, and recovered 75 percent of effluent waste water with minimal RO membrane fouling.
AECR Reduces Costs and Downtime for Hydro-Blast Water Recycling
Multiple blast pad water recycle applications have been successfully completed using AECR, resulting in reduced water disposal costs and downtimes during turnaround activities.
products
Sage Water can supply basic mechanical filtration systems that can incorporate bag filters, cartridge filters, and self-backwashing screen filters. As an approved system integrator, Sage Water can supply your industrial filtration needs.
We offer an extensive line of media filtration systems that reduce both suspended solids and total organics. Our systems provide high-quality water for the post treatment of clarified water, as well as the pretreatment for technologies, such as reverse osmosis, ultra, micro and nano-filtration, water softening, deionization, cooling towers, general plant water use, and waste water reuse.
Sage Water supplies, installs and operates Ultra (UF), Micro (MF) and Nano (NF) filtration systems that effectively remove contaminants from everything from waste water and industrial process water, to drinking water. Featuring innovative design and high-quality filtration membranes, our systems deliver exceptional performance and value, enabling water to be recycled, discharged or prepared for additional treatments.
Sage supplies and installs water softening equipment that reduces the concentration of calcium, magnesium, and other metals found in hard water. Our water softeners empower customers to avoid a variety of issues caused by hard water, including lime scale build-up, plumbing clogs, and system corrosion.
Custom Softener Delivers Ultra-Low Hardness
A refinery that generates low-pressure steam needed a softener capable of providing ultra-low hardness softening. Sage designed and installed a water softener system that delivers a continuous target specification of less than 300 ppb of total hardness while simultaneously minimizing salt usage during softener regeneration.
Sage experts are experienced in supplying and installing the most demanding liquid separation and purification needs. Our Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems offer a reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable solution for water, wastewater, and reuse applications. Sage’s portfolio of RO systems includes those specifically engineered for large industrial applications, mid-sized commercial applications, and trailer-mounted mobile systems for temporary and emergency applications.
Sage designs and installs deionization (DI) systems that produce exceptionally pure water on-site, which saves time and reduces operational costs. Versatile and efficient, our DI systems have countless applications, from boiler feeds and laboratories, to rinse water, sterile processing, ingredient water, and more. Sage DI systems meet a wide range of water quality specifications and are ideal for use in a host of industries, including, but not limited to:
- Chemical
- Pharmaceutical
- Biotechnology
- Electronics
- Food and Beverage
- Power and Utilities
- Hospitals
- Universities
Injecting the right amount of chemicals requires precision and accuracy. Sage designs, builds, and installs sophisticated chemical injection systems that uphold stringent international standards. We also manufacture multi-compartment tank skids for handling multiple chemicals in the same location and multi-point injection skids for tight spaces. Featuring superior quality, our chemical skids are trusted by customers for a variety of uses, such as diluting solutions into process piping and wells, facilitating process flow, and improving oil recovery.
